"Black Woman Art" is the inspiring project of our client, Christelle Nzobihindemyi.

During our initial meeting, we took the time to listen to her needs, desires, and especially her apprehensions about being in front of the camera. Feeling comfortable in front of the lens is a common challenge for many, and it is completely legitimate to feel that apprehension. While anyone can take pictures, making others feel at ease during a session is an art in itself. That’s where we come in.

Here are the steps we put in place to make the process as pleasant as possible:

• A preliminary meeting to build trust
• Choosing a quiet location away from crowds
• Availability to answer all questions and concerns
• Joyful and positive interactions during the session

As you can see in the beautiful photos, our model was able to push beyond her limits and achieve a level of confidence she never thought possible. Today, she can look at these images and see the magnificent person she is, proud of the personal investment she made in herself.

"Black Woman Art" tells the story of a person discovering that she is far more than she ever imagined.
